Forensic Context

A study in humans identified the circHOMER2 as an exonic circRNA that is significantly up-regulated in both lung tissue and plasma from patients with sepsis-induced acute respiratory distress syndrome compared to controls, and pathway analysis suggests co-differentially expressed circRNAs like this one may regulate ECM-receptor interaction and adherens junction pathways [Guo et al.
