Forensic Context

A study in humans demonstrated that circANKRD12 circANKRD12 was significantly upregulated in the peripheral blood of myocardial infarction patients compared to healthy controls, with RT-qPCR validation showing high diagnostic efficacy as reflected by an area under the curve of 0.7819 in receiver operating characteristic analysis [Li et al. DOI:10.3389/fcvm.2022.810257]. A study in humans demonstrated that the circANKRD12 was identified as a differentially expressed circular RNA in the peripheral blood of myocardial infarction patients and was confirmed in an AC16 cell model [Tian et al. DOI: 10.3390/molecules26041155].
