Forensic Context

In mice, circMACF1 was found to be downregulated in myocardial tissue following myocardial infarction, and its experimental overexpression was shown to restore cardiomyocyte apoptosis and reduce myocardial infarct size [Tian et al. DOI:10.3390/molecules26041155].
