Forensic Context

A study in mice demonstrated that the circNFIX is highly expressed in adult heart tissue [Sema Misir et al. DOI:10.1038/s41418-022-00948-7]. A study in rats demonstrated that the circNFIX exhibited dynamic expression changes in ischemic heart disease models, showing early elevation followed by downregulation in ventricular arrhythmia, coronary artery ligation, and isoproterenol-induced acute myocardial infarction models, as well as in H9c2 cells under ischemia-hypoxia [Tian et al. DOI:10.1038/s41598-021-84056-5].
