Forensic Context
A study in mice demonstrated that the circARHGEF12 counteracts hypoxia-induced ATP depletion and apoptotic death in cardiomyocytes via the miR-15b/Arl2 axis and alleviates hypoxic injury in HaCaT cells via miR-449a/NF-κB and PI3K/AKT pathways [Huang et al. A review of human studies indicates that the circARHGEF12 is downregulated in gastric cancer tissues, suggesting its potential role as a biomarker for this disease [Lee et al.
