Forensic Context

A study in mice demonstrated that the circATRNL1 exhibits good postmortem stability in cardiac tissue, maintaining detectable levels for up to eight days after death, which supports its potential utility for postmortem interval estimation [Tian et al. A study in human traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients identified the circATRNL1 as a top down-regulated circular RNA (fold change 0.35) in brain injury tissues, a finding validated by qRT-PCR [Li et al.
