Forensic Context
A study in humans demonstrated that the circTMEM56 is significantly lower in the serum of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) compared to healthy controls, showing a negative correlation with the severity of left ventricular obstruction in obstructive HCM and achieving an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.738 for diagnostic potential [Tian et al.
