A review of studies in humans, mice, and rats indicates that the circCADPS2 demonstrates stable expression in myocardial tissue and body fluids, with specific expression patterns associated with sudden cardiac death-related diseases [Tian et al. DOI:10.3390/molecules26041155]. A study in human traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients identified the circCADPS2 as a top up-regulated circular RNA (fold change 17.62) in brain injury tissues compared to adjacent contusion tissues, with its increased expression validated by qRT-PCR [Li et al.
