A study in humans demonstrated that the circCCNB1 can serve as a biomarker for forensic age prediction, where its expression was analyzed in peripheral blood samples from 100 individuals aged 19-73 years [Wang et al. Furthermore, a separate review highlighted that the circCCNB1 interacts with CCNB1 and CDK1 proteins, dissociating the CCNB1/CDK1 complex and resulting in a loss-of-function effect on tumorigenesis [Misir et al.
