A review of human studies identified the mir-410 as being upregulated in burn hypertrophic scar tissue compared to normal skin [Siu et al. DOI:10.1111/wrr.13100]. A study in rhesus macaques identified the mir-410 as a feature in a Day 21 pleural effusion prediction model that achieved 100% accuracy [May et al. DOI:10.1038/s41598-022-16316-x]. In mice, thymus tissue analysis following whole-body irradiation identified mmu-miR-410-5p as a down-regulated known miRNA in response to ionizing radiation [Chen et al. DOI:10.1080/09553002.2016.1207821].
