Forensic Context

A study in human body fluids using microarray screening and RT-PCR validation found that the mir-412 was tested as a candidate for menstrual blood identification based on prior literature, but the results for menstrual blood were not replicated in this experimental validation [Zubakov et al. A study in humans using massively parallel sequencing identified 90 absolute specific markers (ASMs) for body fluid/tissue identification, including the mir-412 as a potential marker for menstrual blood based on prior published data [Liu et al.
