A study in Göttingen minipigs demonstrated that the mir-432-5p is consistently down-regulated in plasma across all post-lethal total body irradiation phases, from 6 hours to 20 days post-exposure, and its inhibited expression is linked to pancreatic cancer [Chakraborty et al.
