A study in humans established a multi-class support vector machine (MSVM) classification model using 12 selected miRNA markers for forensic body fluid identification, achieving 98% accuracy on an independent test set of single-source samples and demonstrating potential for analyzing aged and mixed forensic stains [Li et al. A study in humans demonstrated that the mir-4662a-5p was selected from RNA-seq for validation as a potential biomarker for plaque rupture in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction [Li et al.
