Forensic Context

A study in humans demonstrated that hsa-miR-501 was differentially expressed in the whole blood of severely injured trauma patients and showed a direct correlation with TLR3 gene expression (P = .02) [Uhlich et al. DOI:10.1016/j.surg.2014.06.017]. In a separate investigation using rhesus macaques, the mir-501 was identified as a feature in a three-group survival prediction model at Day 15 post-thoracic irradiation [May et al.
