DOI:10.1038/s41598-024-81114-6]. In human skin research, hsa-miR-127-3p was found upregulated in burn hypertrophic scar and its derived fibroblasts versus normal fibroblasts [Siu et al. DOI:10.1111/wrr.13100]. A study in rodents demonstrated that the mir-127 is downregulated after spinal cord injury, which should lead to increased inflammation [Nieto-Diaz et al.
