A study in humans demonstrated that the mir-585-3p was selected as a candidate for semen identification but showed no specific amplification in pooled samples [Sauer et al. A separate review of human studies found that the mir-585-3p was incorporated into a multivariate model for Brugada syndrome, achieving a high predictive capacity for major cardiac events with an AUC of 0.96 [Raluca-Maria Cătinas et al.
