A study in humans with coronary artery disease identified the mir-6795-5p as downregulated in whole blood of patients with recurrent myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention, with this differential expression remaining significant after false-discovery rate correction (FDR <0.1) in a replication cohort, while it was not significantly different in plasma samples [Onuoha et al.
