A study in humans demonstrated that the miR-1295a was significantly decreased in pericardial-fluid-derived exosomes from acute myocardial infarction patients compared to controls [Kim et al. DOI:10.3390/ijms25179619], and a separate review of human skin burn research reported that the miR-1295a was downregulated in heat-shocked skin epidermal stem cells six hours post-burn [Siu et al. DOI:10.1111/wrr.13100].
