A systematic review of the literature indicates that the mir-770 is downregulated by cocaine exposure in humans and animal models, where it is involved in the modulation of metabolic processes [Occhipinti et al. DOI:10.3390/Ijms242317122]. Furthermore, the mir-770 is decreased in human blood by the antidepressant escitalopram, demonstrating its modulation by psychotropic treatment [Miguel et al. DOI:10.1089/Ars.2017.7175].
