A study in rats demonstrated that the miR-874-3p is downregulated in diabetic erectile dysfunction (ED) penile tissue, where it binds to Nupr1 and inhibits the Nupr1/Chop-mediated pathway to exert an anti-apoptotic effect [Song et al.
