A study in mice demonstrated that the mir-877 was down-regulated -2.78-fold in the hippocampus after traumatic brain injury at normal temperature and -2.33-fold under low-temperature conditions at 4 hours post-injury [Wang et al. A study in rats identified the mir-877 as a key biomarker of acute myocardial ischemia (AMI) via LASSO regression, with a diagnostic area under the curve (AUC) of 75% [Zhao et al.
