A study in human formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded brain tissues demonstrated that the miR-92a-3p was used as a calibrator and, together with hsa-miR-16-5p, as the geometric mean for housekeeping in the ∆∆Ct method for relative quantification of miRNA expression in fatal traumatic brain injury cases [Bonin et al.
