A study in human patients with heart failure after acute myocardial infarction identified the miR-181b-3p as a potential biomarker for sacubitril/valsartan resistance (SVR) [Su et al. DOI:10.1016/j.ejphar.2023.175547]. Quantitative real-time PCR validation in 18 patient pairs revealed that its expression change was not consistent with the initial microarray data, indicating it did not show a validated differential expression between SVR and non-SVR groups in this cohort.
