A review of human studies identified 197 miRNAs associated with wound healing, burn wound healing, and scarring, with specific miRNAs like hsa-miR-21 and hsa-miR-31 promoting keratinocyte proliferation and migration and being upregulated in hypertrophic scar tissue [Siu et al. A study in humans demonstrated that the miR-194-3p was listed among the top 10 miRNAs whose expression levels decreased significantly with time in the plasma exosomes of Wistar rats following acute myocardial infarction [Zhou et al.
