Another study in humans found the miR-197-3p was significantly upregulated in circulating T cells during the injury stage following major trauma compared to the recovery stage and was identified as a hub miRNA regulating a miRNA-mRNA interactome predominantly involved in the chemokine signaling pathway [Rau et al.
