Forensic Context

A study in humans identified the miR-197-3p as a potential biomarker for myocardial fibrosis following acute myocardial infarction, where it was the most down-regulated DEmiRNA and part of a LINC00664/hsa-miR-197-3p/JAK2 ceRNA interaction pair [Wang et al. DOI:10.2147/IJGM.S329391]. Another study in humans found the miR-197-3p was significantly upregulated in circulating T cells during the injury stage following major trauma compared to the recovery stage and was identified as a hub miRNA regulating a miRNA-mRNA interactome predominantly involved in the chemokine signaling pathway [Rau et al. DOI:10.2147/JIR.S375881].
