A study in brown rats (Rattus norvegicus) demonstrated that the mir-329 was downregulated at 3- and 7-days post-spinal cord injury, showing strong interaction with miR-185 in a regulatory network and targeting the hub gene CDC42 [Liu et al. In rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta), the mir-329 was identified as a feature in a predictive model for pleural effusion by gender at Day 15 post-thoracic irradiation [May et al. DOI:10.1038/s41598-022-16316-x]. A review noted the mir-329 was up-regulated in plasma of old mice after low-dose radiation exposure [Jia & Wang DOI:10.3389/fcell.2022.861451].
