A study in rats demonstrated that rno-miR-369-3p was significantly upregulated in myocardial tissue following burn injury, identifying it as a potential biomarker for myocardial damage [Guo et al. DOI:10.1080/09168451.2020.1807901]. In humans, the mir-369 was identified as a high diagnostic performance circulating microRNA that was up-regulated during acute myocardial infarction and subsequently declined after revascularization therapy [Wang et al. DOI:10.1186/s40364-024-00690-x].
