Forensic Context
A study in humans demonstrated that the ECHDC3 mRNA showed suggestively higher expression in platelets from patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) compared to those with non-STEMI (NSTEMI), validating prior findings from whole blood studies [Eicher et al.
