Forensic Context

A study in humans demonstrated that the ERMN is an alcohol-responsive myelin-related gene in the frontal cortex of individuals with alcohol use disorder [Warden & Mayfield 10.1016/J.Neuropharm.2017.02.017]. Further transcriptome analysis of human postmortem prefrontal cortex identified the ERMN as part of a co-expression module (GM19) associated with alcohol consumption [Farris et al. 10.1038/Mp.2014.159].
