A study in human postmortem brain tissue demonstrated that the HOMER1 mRNA is a target of the circRNA-406742/miR-1200 interaction in the nucleus accumbens of subjects with alcohol dependence, where it shows a positive correlation with circRNA-406742 and a negative correlation with miR-1200 [Vornholt et al.
