Forensic Context

A study in humans demonstrated that the NKG7 was selected as a blood-specific candidate gene from a genome-wide microarray analysis of body fluids and was successfully validated by RT-PCR for forensic body fluid identification [Park et al. DOI:10.1016/j.fsigen.2012.09.001]. In a separate human study, the NKG7 was identified as a cytotoxic cell marker expressed in lymphoid cell clusters within a spatiotemporal single-cell atlas of skin wound healing [Liu et al. DOI:10.1016/j.stem.2024.11.013].
