Forensic Context
A study in humans demonstrated that circZCCHC11 is significantly increased in the serum exosomes of patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer, where its levels correlate with TNM stages and poor prognosis [Misir et al. DOI:10.1038/s41418-022-00948-7]. A study in human coronary artery segments from a single autopsy case demonstrated that the circZCCHC11 was differentially expressed in both left anterior descending and right coronary artery samples, and its expression was validated by qRT-PCR [Hou et al. DOI:10.1002/jcla.23552].
